• Stock Prediction Web Application (January 2023 - February 2024)
Designed and developed a comprehensive stock price prediction web application with a React front-end. The application integrates Python for seamless processing of historical stock price data, stored in a SQL database. I implemented a Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) model to accurately predict future stock prices for specific target stocks, providing users with valuable insights.
• Cloud-Based Wildfire Prediction (August 2022 - December 2023)
A student-led initiative that leveraged historical fire and weather data to predict wildfires. By analyzing key factors such as weather conditions, longitude, latitude, and humidity, the model forecasts wildfire probability and scale. This solution was deployed to AWS, using AWS Lambda for serverless computing and a React.js front-end for data visualization and interaction.
• Cal Poly Pomona Open Classroom Finder (January 2024 - June 2024)
Developed a classroom scheduler for Cal Poly Pomona that helps students find empty classrooms for studying and working. The back-end is powered by Django, with SQLite3 for the database and Selenium for web scraping real-time classroom availability data. I also implemented HTMX to dynamically load content and used Bootstrap to create a responsive, user-friendly interface. This system provides up-to-date information and automated checks for classroom availability.
